Best GMAT Test Prep Courses and Tutoring in Melbourne
Manhattan Review's prep classes, private tutoring, and practice tests are the savvy choice for Melbourne students taking the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The GMAT is a challenging test that evaluates several different types of skills, and more than 2,100 universities use it as an important component of admissions decisions. Top graduate business programs generally require high-percentile GMAT scores, and with more than 250,000 people in over 100 countries taking the GMAT every year, there is a significant amount of competition. Melbourne students seeking GMAT prep have an almost bewildering array of options. Manhattan Review's meticulously designed prep courses and dedicated tutors have been producing successful results on the GMAT since 1999. Don't risk your business school prospects on inexperienced tutors or unproven self-study methods. Contact Manhattan Review today for more information on our excellent GMAT prep services, and we'll get started right away on helping you maximize your score potential.
In its most recent version, the GMAT is a 3.5-hour test that consists of four sections: quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, integrated reasoning, and analytical writing. The GMAT does not attempt to measure business skills, business knowledge, or intelligence, but it is regarded as an objective assessment of abilities that are considered important to success in management. Median GMAT scores for admitted students, which are a significant factor in business school rankings, demonstrate the highly competitive nature of the test. The midpoint of the score range for students at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, for example, is 740 out of a maximum score of 800, while the typical student at Columbia Business School scored a 715. Manhattan Review's GMAT prep courses (available both on-site and online) and private tutoring will help ensure that your business school application stands out.
Manhattan Review's GMAT prep services have helped countless students gain admission to elite graduate business programs in the United States, including Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, Dartmouth University's Tuck School of Business, and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. We've also taught students and graduates of the many Australian institutions that accept the GMAT, such as Monash University, Deakin University, and the Australian Graduate School of Management. Many of our former clients are currently employees of Fortune 500 American companies (Prudential Financial, Cisco Systems, and Lockheed Martin, to name just a few) and prominent Melbourne firms (including Bank of Melbourne, Gray Line Australia, and Tribal Sports Management). Manhattan Review's GMAT prep services are your first step toward a rewarding business career.

Meet a Melbourne GMAT Tutor: Naomi L.
Naomi L. is originally from Perth, Australia. Her father is an investment banker, and her mother is a professor of literature. Naomi did her undergraduate work at Central Queensland University, where she majored in economics, and she then completed an MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management. Naomi moved to Melbourne in order to start her own clothing design firm, and has worked evenings and weekends for Manhattan Review as a GMAT tutor since 2011. She is respected by her students for her academic credentials (including high GMAT scores), experience in the business world, and devotion to helping others achieve their dreams.
"Naomi is the perfect role model for me," said one of her current GMAT students. "I want to go to a top business school in America, and I want to start my own company. The fact that she has done these things gives her tutoring a level of legitimacy with me that it couldn't otherwise have." Between running her own business and providing top-notch GMAT tutoring, Naomi doesn't have a lot of free time, but she makes every effort to indulge her hobbies, which include playing the guitar, badminton, and caring for her collection of exotic plants. She is also planning her upcoming wedding to Oliver, a fellow MIT graduate and Melbourne businessman.
